The Flare Gun is a weapon for the secondary slot.
Description
Set your foes alight from afar, doing critical damage to those already on fire.
How it works
- The flare flies in an arc, falling as it travels, and bursts in a small blast where it lands.
- Everyone it hurts is set burning at full strength: the Flamethrower's afterburn at its worst, every time.
- Against a target that is already burning it deals double damage, as a critical hit, on the direct hit and the blast alike.
- Its fire thaws: a teammate caught in the burst, and you, loses 0.75 seconds of any freeze holding them or, when they are not frozen, a third of a full chill from the Thermal Void.
- Your own flare hurts you, for a fifth of the blast, pushes you as hard as it pushes anyone else, and sets you burning too.
- It holds one flare, so every shot is followed by a reload.
