The Teleporter is a pair of pads that sends teammates from an entrance to an exit. Both ends are built with the Struction Console: press 3 for the entrance and 4 for the exit.
Behavior
- A teammate who stands still on the entrance for 0.6 s is sent to the exit, as long as the exit is built and the teleporter has recharged. Moving faster than 2 m/s on the pad does not count as standing on it.
- After each teleport it recharges before it can send the next rider: 3 s at level 1, 1.5 s at level 2, 0.9 s at level 3.
- Only the builder's team can ride it.
- An enemy standing on the exit when a rider arrives is killed instantly.
- The two ends share one level and one upgrade bar, and repairing one end repairs the other as well. Upgrading only shortens the recharge.
Building and upgrading
See Struction Console#Buildings. Each end is placed and destroyed on its own.
Tips
- Put the entrance near your spawn and the exit close to the fight, somewhere enemies are unlikely to look.
- Clear the exit before a teammate arrives if an enemy is camping it, or let them arrive on top of the enemy.
