Steam Workshop

The Steam Workshop is where players share maps they made in the Level Editor.

Playing Workshop maps

1. Browse TeamSpec's Workshop page in Steam and press Subscribe on maps you like. Steam downloads them for you.
2. Subscribed maps appear in the game's map list marked as Workshop maps. Host them like any other map (see Hosting a game).

When you join a server running a map you do not have, the game downloads it for you.

Publishing your own map

1. Build your map in the Level Editor and export it as a .tsmap file.
2. In the game's main menu, open Workshop and choose your file.
3. Press Test in Game. Publishing unlocks once the map has loaded successfully, so a broken map cannot be uploaded.
4. Fill in the title, description, tags, visibility and an optional preview picture (1 MB or less), then publish.

To update a map later, enter its Workshop id and a change note. My Submissions lists what you have published.
