Health is how much damage you can take. When it reaches 0 you die and are out until you respawn.

Maximum health

  • Your maximum health is 150, plus 25 per Power point in your build: 150 at 0 Power, 400 at 10 Power. See Classes.
  • Some items add to it while they are in your loadout: the Pet Rock adds 100.
  • You start every life at full health.

Regeneration

Each Support point gives 2.5 health per second of regeneration, up to 25 per second at 10 Support. It starts 3 seconds after you last took damage and stops at your maximum. A server can change how long it waits.

Healing

  • Health pickups heal 25% of your maximum for a small pack, 50% for a medium one and 100% for a large one, and put out fire. You cannot pick one up at full health, so it stays for a teammate.
  • The Dispenser heals every teammate within 8 m that it can see: 15 health per second at level 1, 22.5 at level 2 and 30 at level 3.
  • The Mender heals the teammate it is locked onto by 50 health per second.
  • The Soul Linker drains 10 health per second from you and gives your linked teammate twice that. It never takes you below 30 health, and costs nothing while they are at full health.
  • Your own team's spawn room protects you from damage and fully resupplies you.
Note: There is no overheal. Healing from every source stops at your maximum health.

On the HUD

The bottom of the screen shows the health icon, your current health in large numbers with your maximum beside it, and a health bar.

Dying and respawning

You respawn after 8 seconds unless the game mode says otherwise, and the Kill cam shows how you died while you wait. You come back in your team's spawn room and are briefly immune. While dead you can switch to another of your classes. See Damage#Death and respawning.
