Plane
Where Toolbar, last button
Works on A single flat face, optionally a displacement
Settings Tool Properties

The Plane tool makes a single-sided flat face: the quickest start for a displacement (sculpted ground, a hillside, a rocky floor), or a simple flat surface.

Making a plane

  1. Pick Plane on the toolbar.
  2. Drag a rectangle on a surface or in empty space.
  3. Let go to create it.

With Create as Displacement on, the plane is a displacement straight away, ready to sculpt with the Displacement tool. Otherwise you can convert it later with Edit > Convert Face to Displacement.

Note: A plane has one side: seen from below it is invisible. Use a Box for anything players can see from both sides.
